What is PIT?
It consists of subcutaneous applications of sterile sugar (D5W) in the painful area, focused on the area of the sensory nerves.
Treatment Goal
The objective is to reduce inflammation of the nerves, and thus eliminate chronic pain in the body, avoiding the recurrent use of medication.
Duration of treatment
One session per week, for one or two months.
